1929 Corona Four 💚Emerald Green💚
Pica Typeface (10 cpi)
Emerald Green Gloss/Gold Accents
The Corona Four…
I’m not going to sugarcoat it, these machines are mostly overrated in my opinion.(and many other Typewriter mechanics) They can be fussy, and often have been used so hard they just struggle to produce.
This machine however, is one of the exceptions.
I bought this pretty old machine locally from a woman who’s mother owned it. It was used while her mother was in nursing school, and was clearly loved and taken care of.
Like with most of these, the real allure is the design, but it has a fun feel to the function as well. Very deliberate, and wonderfully “clacky”. Cosmetically, it's a ridiculously handsome machine. Paint is in very good condition, very few signs of use.
The hard case is in pretty good condition as well. It has some battle scars, but is structurally sound, latches well, and does a fine job protecting this stunning old machine.
This is NOT an "as-is" typewriter.
It has been lovingly cleaned, oiled, serviced, and thoroughly tested to ensure it'll hang with whatever you decide to write with it. It has a NOS platen from a lot purchase, rejuvenated feed rollers, and replacement feet.
It comes with everything you see in the pictures and more;
YOUR CHOICE of a brand spankin' new solid black, or bichrome (red/black) ribbon available in cotton or nylon on vintage Smith Corona specific metal spools(installed), a reprinted original owners manual, the typewriter, hard case, an OFFICIAL Nashville Typewriter sticker and hand-typed note from me, the typeface text sample, and even a few sheets of paper to get you started on the path to analog independence and distraction free writing!
Has been disassembled, cleaned, oiled lightly in the spots that are supposed to be, and serviced by someone that LOVES typewriters.
FREE SHIPPING in the continental US!
