Rebranded and marketed in the US as a Remington, under the hood lurks a savage, aptly named TORPEDO 18s that types like an absolute bat out of hell. Snappy, blazingly fast, and a modern design that holds up even now.
Often overlooked as it is not commonly known what these actually are, this machine is an absolute beast!
This one was well taken care of, the action is quick, precise, and very light. The Cursive script is lovely. Whimsical, loopy, but still easy to read and makes a nice imprint.
The case is in good shape as well, it’s one of the later gray cases with a leatherette cover.
This machine is a really good one, and perfect for touch typists.
This is NOT an "as-is" typewriter.
It has been lovingly cleaned, oiled, serviced, and thoroughly tested to ensure it'll hang with whatever you decide to write with it.
