Considered by many to be the pinnacle of SCM portables, the 5 series is a snappy, handsome machine that much beloved by writers. Mechanically, it types like very well- Smooth, snappy, and satisfying. Cosmetically, it's a very handsome machine. The dark brown paint is in good condition, a few signs of use, but overall a very striking and handsome machine. The case is in good shape as well, latches like it should and does a great job protecting the machine. The elite typeface produces a very nice imprint, and at 12 characters per inch you can fit more on the page!

It has been lovingly cleaned, oiled, serviced, and thoroughly tested to ensure it'll hang with whatever you decide to write with it.
